HP Smart app can't find the printer during setup

Join 2.4GHz Wi-Fi

Restore Wi-Fi setup mode

On the printer, restore network defaults or run the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard so it broadcasts for 2 hours.

Enable Bluetooth & Location (mobile)

HP Smart on phones needs Bluetooth and Location on to discover the printer.

Keep devices close & off VPN

Place the printer near the router during pairing and disable any VPN.
