Community guidelines

The community exists so printer owners can help each other with real fixes. These rules keep it useful and safe.

Do

  • Name the exact printer model, the computer or phone you print from, and the exact error message.
  • Share what actually worked for you, step by step, and say how you knew it was fixed.
  • Mark the answer that solved your problem so the next person finds it quickly.
  • Be kind. Everyone here was a beginner once.

Do not

  • Post phone numbers, “support helplines” or offers to fix printers by phone. These are the classic printer-support scam and are removed on sight; the account is suspended.
  • Advertise products, services, coupons or your own website. Links to your own site are allowed only once you are a trusted member, and only when they genuinely help.
  • Copy content from other websites or manufacturers’ manuals. Write it in your own words.
  • Post the same question or guide more than once.
  • Share other people’s personal details or your own serial numbers and passwords.

How moderation works

Questions and guides go live immediately. Every post is scored for spam automatically; posts that look suspicious wait for a human review, usually within a day. Members can report any post or reply, and enough reports hide it until a moderator has looked. Removed posts keep their address with a short notice and links to related help, so nobody lands on a dead page.

What we index

Guides of about 150 words or more, and questions that have an answer, are listed in search engines. Short or unanswered posts stay visible on the site but are not submitted to search engines until they grow.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you write and give PrinterSupport.io permission to publish it. Member posts reflect the member’s own experience and are not tested advice from our editorial team; see our disclaimer. To remove one of your posts, use the Remove button under My posts.
