Terms of Service

By using PrinterSupport.io you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Use of the site

You may read, print and share our content for your own personal or internal business use. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish our guides in bulk, scrape the site at scale, or present our content as your own.

No warranty

The content on this site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the information is complete, accurate or current for your specific printer, firmware version or operating system. See our Disclaimer for the full position.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrinterSupport.io and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of this site or its content, including damage to equipment, loss of data or loss of business. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

User contributions

When you post a comment, question or review you confirm that the content is yours to post and does not infringe anyone else's rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display and edit it for length and clarity. We moderate all contributions and may decline or remove anything that is spam, abusive, misleading, promotional, or that attempts to direct readers to fraudulent support services.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or close an account that is used to breach these terms.

Remote support service

Our paid remote-support service is subject to the following:

  • A session requires your explicit consent for each connection, and you may end it at any time.
  • The service covers software, driver, connectivity and configuration problems. It does not cover mechanical repair, parts, or consumables.
  • We will tell you honestly when a fault cannot be resolved remotely rather than continuing to bill for it.
  • The plan covers the printers in one household or one small-office location for the period purchased. It is not transferable to third parties or resellable.
  • We may decline or discontinue service where a request is unlawful, abusive, or would require us to bypass a manufacturer's security or licensing controls.

Refunds and cancellation

If we cannot help you at all with the problem you bought the plan for, contact us and we will refund it. You may cancel a plan at any time; cancellation stops future renewal. We will always email before any renewal takes effect.

Third-party sites

We link to manufacturers' sites and official app stores. We do not control those sites, and their terms and privacy policies govern your use of them.

Intellectual property

All original text, artwork and code on this site belongs to PrinterSupport.io. Third-party trademarks and product images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes only. Photographs sourced from Wikimedia Commons are used in accordance with their individual licences, which are credited on the page where they appear.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Questions go to help@printersupport.io.
