Remote printer support

A printer specialist fixes it with you, while you watch

Most printer problems are not mechanical. They are a driver that installed wrong, a router that moved the printer to a different band, a firmware update that changed the rules, or a queue that jammed three weeks ago and never recovered. Those are all fixable in one screen-share, and that is what this plan is for.

  • Every printer in your home or office — not one machine, all of them, for a year.
  • Any brand — HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox, Samsung, Kyocera, Ricoh, Pantum, and label printers too.
  • Any device — Windows 11 and 10, macOS, ChromeOS, iPhone, iPad and Android.
  • Honest answers — if the printer has a mechanical fault that is not worth repairing, we say so instead of billing you again.

How a session works

No waiting in for an engineer, no carrying the printer to a shop.

Tell us what you see

The exact message on the panel or screen, your printer model and the device you print from. A photo of the panel helps.

Approve the connection

We send a one-time code. You start the share, you watch every step, and you can end it instantly at any point.

Print a test page

Drivers, Wi-Fi, scanning and phone printing all set up properly, plus a written summary of what was wrong.

What we fix most often

These are the problems that fill our sessions. Each one has a free guide too, if you would rather do it yourself.

Questions before you book

What exactly do you fix?

Wireless and wired setup, driver and app installation, printers that show offline, print queues that stick, scanning problems, mobile and AirPrint printing, firmware updates, error-code diagnosis, and ink or toner recognition faults. If the fault turns out to be mechanical, we tell you honestly and explain whether repair or replacement makes more sense.

How does a remote session work?

You book a time, then start a screen-share with a one-time code that you approve. You watch everything we do and can end the session at any moment. We never ask for card details, bank logins or passwords to unrelated accounts.

Which printers and computers do you support?

Every mainstream brand including HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox, Samsung, Kyocera, Ricoh, Pantum and label printers such as Zebra, Dymo and Rollo, on Windows 11 and 10, macOS, ChromeOS, iPhone, iPad and Android.

What if you cannot fix it?

If the problem is a hardware failure that cannot be resolved remotely, we say so, document what we found, and point you to the manufacturer warranty or a sensible replacement. You are not charged again for a problem we could not solve.

Are you affiliated with the printer manufacturers?

No. PrinterSupport.io is an independent service. We are not HP, Canon, Epson, Brother or any other manufacturer, and we never claim to be. For warranty repairs we point you to the manufacturer's own support channel.

Do I need the plan to use this site?

No. Every guide, error-code page, model page and software page on this site is free and always will be. The plan exists for people who would rather have someone do it for them.

A word on printer support scams. If a pop-up, a search ad or a sticker gives you a phone number and claims to be your printer manufacturer, be careful: fake "printer support" lines are a large and long-running fraud. Real manufacturers never cold-call you, never ask for remote access to fix a "virus" they detected, and never ask for gift cards. We say plainly on every page that we are independent, and our guides always link the manufacturer's own support site so you can go direct. How to find the real support number.
