Independence and trademarks

PrinterSupport.io is an independent resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or sponsored by any printer manufacturer. HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox, Kyocera, Ricoh, Samsung, Dell, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Toshiba, OKI, Panasonic, Pantum, Zebra, Dymo, Primera, Rollo and all other brand names, product names, model numbers and logos referenced on this site are the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.

These names are used solely to identify the products for which we provide information, in the descriptive sense permitted by nominative fair use. Their use here does not imply any association with, or approval by, the trademark owner.

Advice is provided in good faith

The information on this site is published in good faith and for general guidance. Printers vary by model, firmware version, region and operating system, and a procedure that is correct for one machine may not be correct for another. Follow any instruction only if it matches what you actually see on your device.

You use this information at your own risk. PrinterSupport.io accepts no liability for damage to hardware, loss of data, voided warranties or other loss arising from actions taken on the basis of content published here.

Warranty warning

Some procedures described on this site, including resetting consumable counters, opening a printer's casing, using third-party ink or toner, and installing firmware other than the manufacturer's current release, may void your warranty or breach the terms of a subscription programme. Where we know of such a risk we flag it, but you should check your own warranty terms before proceeding. If your printer is under warranty, contact the manufacturer first.

Third-party links and downloads

We link to manufacturers' websites and official app stores so that you can obtain software from its original source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or any change they make to a download. Always verify that you are on the manufacturer's genuine domain before downloading anything.

Support scam warning

Fraudulent "printer support" operations advertise heavily and impersonate manufacturers. Genuine manufacturers do not cold-call you, do not display pop-up warnings demanding you telephone them, and never request payment in gift cards. PrinterSupport.io states plainly on every page that it is independent, and we will never claim to be your printer's manufacturer.

Remote support service

Our paid remote-support service assists with software, driver, network and configuration problems. It cannot repair mechanical faults, and we will tell you when a problem is mechanical rather than continuing to charge you. Remote sessions require your explicit consent for each connection and can be terminated by you at any moment.

Pricing and availability

Prices, specifications and availability quoted for printers and consumables are indicative, change frequently, and vary by country and retailer. Always confirm current details with the retailer before purchasing.
