Prusa Connect is the cloud service for monitoring and controlling Prusa printers from anywhere. It shows print progress, temperatures and camera feeds, queues jobs, stores G-code in 1 GB of free cloud space and sends notifications when prints finish or fail. It pairs with PrusaLink, the local web interface on the printer itself, so you can use local-only control if you would rather not put the printer on a cloud service. A mobile app simply called Prusa provides the same functions on a phone.

How to install it
Step 1
Connect the printer to your network, by Ethernet or with the Wi-Fi module depending on your model.
Step 2
On the printer, enable PrusaLink and note the printer's address and password from the settings menu.
Step 3
Create a Prusa account and sign in at the Prusa Connect website.
Step 4
Add the printer to Connect by entering the registration code the printer shows, or by following the pairing prompt.
Step 5
Confirm the printer appears online in Connect with live temperatures.
Step 6
Install the Prusa mobile app and sign in with the same account if you want phone access.
Step 7
Upload a G-code file and start a test print while you are present, so you learn the workflow.
Step 8
Set up a camera if you want remote monitoring that is actually useful.
Which printers it supports
Prusa printers with network capability, including the MK4 and MK4S, MINI and MINI+, XL and CORE One, and the MK3 series with the Prusa network module.
When Prusa Connect will not work
PrusaLink must be enabled on the printer and the printer must have working network access. Check the printer's network settings on its screen, then re-enter the registration code shown there.
Use PrusaLink instead, which is the printer's own local web interface. It gives monitoring and control on your own network without involving Prusa's servers.
Prusa Connect needs a supported camera connected to the printer or to a host such as a Raspberry Pi. Without one, you get progress and temperatures but no picture.
The free tier is 1 GB. Delete old G-code files from the Connect storage, or upload files only as you need them and print from the printer's own USB drive for archived jobs.
Only start a print when you can see the plate. The printer cannot tell whether the previous part was removed, and starting onto an occupied plate causes crashes and damage.
