Check for jammed paper and debris
Follow the panel's jam clearance guidance and open each indicated area, removing paper and fragments. A sheet wedged against a drive component can stall the motor and produce a drive fault rather than a jam message.
Reseat the drum and developer units
Switch the machine off, open the front cover, and check that any drum, developer or toner units removed during recent maintenance are fully home and locked. A unit not properly seated can bind against the drive and stall it.
Look for foreign objects
Check inside the machine for staples, paper clips, label backing or packing material, particularly if the fault appeared after loading new stock. Small objects that reach the drive train stall motors immediately.
Note whether the fault is at start-up or during printing
