Dell Printer Hub was the desktop utility that showed supplies levels, ordered cartridges and gave access to settings for Dell printers. Since Dell left the printer market around 2020, the product page has gone and there is no current download to link. What remains is the Dell support home page: search your printer model there and you may still find the original Software Suite for that machine, which included the Printer Hub or its predecessor. Treat anything you find as legacy software with no further updates.
Version and licence: No official page exists any more. Dell exited the printer business around 2020 and removed the Printer Hub product page. The only route left is the Dell support home page, where you search your model and download whatever Software Suite is still listed for it.
Download Dell Printer Hub
What it does
- Supplies level display and reorder links for Dell printers
- Access to printer settings from the desktop
- Status alerts for errors and low supplies
- Shipped as part of the model's Software Suite
- All of this is now legacy, with no current release
How to install it
Step 1
Go to the Dell support home page rather than searching for a Printer Hub product page, which no longer exists.
Step 2
Enter your printer's model number or service tag.
Step 3
Open the Drivers and Downloads section for that model.
Step 4
Look for the Software Suite or Printer Software entry, which is where the Printer Hub was bundled.
Step 5
Download it and check the listed operating system versions before installing, since these packages are old.
Step 6
Install as an administrator, and if it refuses on Windows 11, try compatibility mode for Windows 7 or 10.
Step 7
If nothing suitable exists, use the printer's own web interface for supplies and settings instead.
Which printers it supports
Dell branded printers sold before the business was discontinued around 2020, principally the Dell laser and colour laser ranges.
When Dell Printer Hub will not work
That is correct. Dell removed it when it exited printers around 2020. Search your model on the Dell support home page and download whatever Software Suite is still listed.
These packages predate Windows 11. Try compatibility mode and running as administrator. If it still fails, use the printer's built-in web interface, reached by typing its IP address into a browser, for supplies and settings.
Check the same model page for the print driver, and consider the Dell Open Print Driver A16 for older Windows versions. On Windows 11, the built-in IPP or class driver is usually the practical option.
Status relies on SNMP, which modern networks often restrict and old software handles poorly. The printer's own web page shows the same information without any software.
Dell supplies have become scarce since the exit. Most Dell printers were rebadged from other makers, so identifying the original manufacturer's equivalent cartridge is often the practical route, keeping in mind the usual caveats about non-original supplies.

Frequently asked questions
Why can I not find Dell Printer Hub?
Dell exited the printer business around 2020 and removed the product page. Only model-specific legacy downloads remain.
Will my Dell printer keep working?
Yes, as long as a driver exists for your operating system. Basic printing usually works through the built-in Windows IPP or class driver.
Where do I get supplies information now?
From the printer's own web interface, which shows levels without any software installed.
