Panasonic KX-MB1520
Small shops needing a compact laser fax that also prints and copies

A small USB-only mono laser three-in-one, the KX-MB1500 was Panasonic's budget desktop machine for home offices and small shops. It prints, copies and scans from the flatbed but has no feeder, no network port and no duplex. Panasonic has since left the printer business, so the biggest practical issue for owners is finding drivers that install on current Windows, and confirming toner and drum supply before committing to a repair.

Best for: Home offices needing a simple desktop print, copy and scan unit
Install Multi-Function Station before connecting the USB cable — plugging it in first often leaves Windows with a half-installed generic device. If the Panasonic installer refuses to run on Windows 11, try compatibility mode for Windows 7, or add the printer with a Generic PCL driver for basic printing and use Windows Fax and Scan for the scanner. Toner and drum are separate parts here, so a faded page after several thousand copies usually means the KX-FAD412 drum rather than the toner.
The Panasonic KX-MB1500 uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
