Setting up the Dell 5130cdn Color Laser Printer

Install the Dell 5130cdn PCL6 or PostScript driver from dell.com/support, or the generic drivers on Windows 11 and macOS. Set a static IP from the panel and add by TCP/IP. Use the embedded web server to watch drum and belt life and to configure tray paper types, which matters for colour registration.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the toner cartridge and drum unit, and load paper in the tray.
