The Rollo App is aimed at small sellers who ship parcels. It connects to marketplaces and carriers, buys and generates shipping labels, and prints them to a Rollo thermal printer from a phone. It also tracks orders and shipments. It is more of a shipping workflow tool than a simple print utility, so the setup involves linking carrier or marketplace accounts. For plain printing of a label you already have as a PDF, the printer works through AirPrint on the wireless models or through the desktop driver on a computer.

How to install it
Step 1
Set the Rollo printer up first, loading 4 by 6 inch labels and running its calibration by holding the feed button as the manual describes.

Install the Rollo App from the App Store or Google Play.

Create a Rollo account and sign in.
Step 4
Connect the printer, over Wi-Fi for the wireless models or Bluetooth where supported, granting the app the local network or Bluetooth permission.
Step 5
Link the carrier or marketplace accounts you ship through.
Step 6
Import or create an order and generate a label.
Step 7
Print one label as a test and confirm it fills the 4 by 6 area without scaling.

If labels print at the wrong size, check the label size setting rather than assuming a printer fault.

When Rollo App will not work
The label size must be set to 4 by 6 inches, or 100 by 150 mm, in the print settings. Scaling to fit is the usual cause of a shrunken label, so turn it off.
Grant the local network permission on iOS or nearby-device permission on Android. For the wireless model, confirm it is on the same network; for USB models, printing from a phone is not possible and you need the desktop driver.
Run the printer's calibration by holding the feed button as described in the manual, so it learns the label length and gap. Blank output also happens when labels are loaded with the thermal side facing away from the head.
The app is a shipping manager. For a label you already have, use AirPrint on the Rollo Wireless, or print from a computer with the Rollo driver, which is simpler.
Rates require a linked and verified carrier or marketplace account. Complete the sign-up on the carrier side, then reconnect the account in the app.
