Rollo Wireless Printer (X1040)
Sellers who want to print shipping labels from a phone over Wi-Fi
The Rollo USB printer is one of the most popular 4x6 shipping label printers among US and Canadian online sellers because it is quick, takes any direct thermal label and pairs well with Shopify, Etsy and Pirate Ship. It learns the label size automatically by feeding a few labels, which avoids the calibration fiddling that Zebra owners face. The only real limitations are the USB-only connection and the plastic external roll holder.

Best for: Online sellers who want a fast, label-agnostic 4x6 thermal printer
Download the Rollo driver for Windows or macOS from rollo.com, install it, then connect USB and load labels print side up. Press and hold the circular button until it feeds and stops to auto-identify label size. In your shipping platform, choose 4x6 as the label format and select the Rollo printer; set paper size to 4x6 in the driver as well.
The Rollo USB Label Printer (X1038) uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
