The Rollo driver installs the USB Rollo thermal label printer on Windows or macOS, creating a normal printer queue so any application can print to it. Rollo publishes a single always-current download for each platform rather than versioned files. The most common setup mistake is leaving the paper size at A4 or Letter, which makes labels print tiny in the corner, so set 100 by 150 mm in Printing Preferences immediately after installing. The Rollo Wireless model needs no driver because it works through AirPrint.
Version and licence: Free. Note that the Rollo Wireless needs no driver at all, because it supports AirPrint. The driver is for the USB models. After installing, set the paper size to 100 by 150 mm in Printing Preferences, which is the step most people miss.

How to install it
Step 1
Confirm which model you have; the Rollo Wireless needs no driver because it supports AirPrint.
Step 2
Download the Rollo driver for Windows or macOS from the Rollo setup page.
Step 3
On Windows, extract the zip file before running the installer.
Step 4
Run the installer as an administrator, or on macOS open the disk image and allow it in System Settings, Privacy and Security.
Step 5
Connect the printer by USB and switch it on so the driver binds to it.
Step 6
Load 4 by 6 inch labels and calibrate the printer by holding the feed button as the manual describes.
Step 7
Open Printing Preferences and set the paper size to 100 by 150 mm. This step is essential and is skipped most often.
Step 8
Print a test label and confirm it fills the label with no scaling.
Which printers it supports
USB Rollo thermal label printers. The Rollo Wireless prints through AirPrint and does not use this driver.
When Rollo Printer Driver will not work
The paper size is still set to A4 or Letter. Open Printing Preferences and set it to 100 by 150 mm, and turn off any scale-to-fit option in the application you are printing from.
Calibrate the printer by holding the feed button as the manual describes so it learns the label length and gap. Also confirm the labels are loaded with the thermal side facing the print head.
Open System Settings, Privacy and Security and choose Open Anyway, then run it again. macOS blocks downloaded installers by default.
It does not need this driver. Add it as an AirPrint printer in Windows or macOS, or print to it from a phone directly.
Increase the darkness setting in Printing Preferences, confirm you are using genuine direct thermal labels, and clean the print head with an alcohol swab when the printer is cold.
