Toshiba's Universal Printer 2 is the Windows driver most e-STUDIO sites standardise on. How to install it
Step 1
Open the Toshiba support and drivers page and enter your e-STUDIO model number.

Choose Windows and your version, then download the Universal Printer 2 package, or the PS3 or XPS variant if you specifically need it.

Extract the archive to a local folder and run the installer as an administrator.
Step 4
Enter the device IP address, or let the installer search the network.
Step 5
Choose PCL6 or PostScript as the default output mode in the driver properties after installation.

Let the driver read the device configuration, or set the finisher and trays manually in Printer Properties, Device Settings.
Step 7
Enter your department code in Printing Preferences if accounting is enabled.

Which printers it supports
Toshiba e-STUDIO multifunction devices and printers across the current and recent ranges. Older models may need a model-specific driver from their own support page.
When Toshiba Universal Printer 2 driver will not work
Department code accounting is probably enabled. Open Printing Preferences, find the department code field, enter the code your administrator issued and save it as the default.
Open Printer Properties, Device Settings and set the fitted finisher, trays and duplex unit manually. Automatic detection needs SNMP, which many networks block.
