The e-STUDIO2528A is the entry point to Toshiba's current A3 mono range, running at 25 ppm with the large e-BRIDGE Next touchscreen and a self-encrypting drive as standard. It is a natural fit for a small office or school department that wants copier durability without high volume. The reversing feeder is the main compromise; if you scan a lot of double-sided originals, specify the optional dual-scan document feeder at order time.

Setting up the Toshiba e-STUDIO2528A

Set the IP from the touchscreen under User Functions, Admin, Network, then finish configuration in TopAccess, Toshiba's web interface, where SMTP, LDAP and the address book live. Deploy the Toshiba Universal Printer Driver so one package covers every e-STUDIO on the network, and enable the correct finisher and drawer options in the driver's Configuration tab. Turn on TopAccess HTTPS and change the default admin password before the machine is used on a general network.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the toner cartridge and drum unit, and load paper in the tray.
2. Join your Wi-Fi. Keep the printer close to the router for setup. Most printers only connect to the 2.4GHz band, so if your router broadcasts one merged network name you may need to split the bands temporarily. See our Wi-Fi guide if it will not join.
3. Install the setup app. Use Toshiba's official app rather than a driver you found on a search result — third-party driver sites are the most common source of printer malware.
4. Add the printer. On Windows 11: Settings › Bluetooth & devices › Printers & scanners › Add device. On macOS: System Settings › Printers & Scanners › Add Printer.
5. Print a test page and run a scan if this is an all-in-one, so you find any problem now rather than when you are in a hurry.
