Site the machine with room for a finisher and large-capacity feeder, and reserve a static IP before enrolling it in print management. Set up department codes or card authentication so colour usage can be attributed, since uncontrolled colour is where costs escalate on a machine this fast. Calibrate colour on a schedule and register house stocks by name so the engine applies the right speed and fuser temperature automatically.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the toner cartridge and drum unit, and load paper in the tray.
