Kyocera error C0100 - backup memory device error
The machine could not read or write the non-volatile memory that stores its settings, counters and calibration data, so it stopped during start-up. Kyocera C codes are service calls, and C0100 points at the backup memory on the main board. Settings may appear reset even if the machine restarts successfully.

Power cycle the machine fully

Plug into a wall socket directly
Move the machine off any extension lead, surge strip or UPS and plug it straight into a wall outlet. Unstable supply is a plausible contributor to memory write failures, and eliminating it is quick.
Check whether settings have been lost
If the machine does start, look at the network settings, address book and tray configuration. Missing or reset values confirm the backup memory is not holding data reliably, which means the fault will recur even if the code has cleared for now.
Note the firmware version
From the panel, look under System Menu or Device Information for the firmware level, and check the Kyocera support material for your model. If an update was interrupted, reloading the firmware through a technician is the usual remedy.
Record the code, model and serial number
