The E310dw is a Dell-badged Samsung Xpress M2835DW, a compact 27 ppm duplex mono laser with Wi-Fi and Ethernet that Dell sold through 2019. It was one of Dell's last consumer lasers before the company left the printer market. It works well on Windows 11 and macOS through AirPrint and the Microsoft IPP driver, and Samsung MLT-D116L toner is a direct substitute for Dell's cartridge.

Best for: Home offices needing a cheap wireless duplex mono laser
Dell's E310dw driver is still on dell.com/support, and HP's Samsung M2835 Series driver is an exact match if Dell's installer misbehaves. Connect over Ethernet first, then configure Wi-Fi from the printer's embedded web page if the wireless wizard fails. Reserve the IP on your router to prevent the printer from going offline after power cycles.
The Dell E310dw Wireless Mono Laser Printer uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
