The instax Link WIDE prints onto instax WIDE film, the largest instax format, and its app handles cropping, frames, stickers, collages and video stills like the other Link apps. What sets it apart is desktop support: Fujifilm publishes proper printer drivers for 64-bit Windows and macOS 11 or later, which means the Link WIDE appears as a normal printer and can be printed to from any application. That makes it genuinely useful for printing from a computer, which the mini and SQUARE Link printers cannot do.

How to install it
Step 1
Load a pack of instax WIDE film, matching the yellow mark on the pack to the mark in the printer.
Step 2
Charge the printer and switch it on.
Step 3
For phone use, install the instax Link WIDE app and pair over Bluetooth after granting the Bluetooth and photo permissions.
Step 4
For computer use, download the Windows x64 MSI or the macOS package from the Fujifilm driver links.
Step 5
Run the installer; on macOS allow it in System Settings, Privacy and Security if it is blocked.
Step 6
Pair the printer with the computer over Bluetooth, then add it in Printers and Scanners or Windows printer settings.
Step 7
Set the paper size to instax WIDE in the print dialog so the image is not scaled to a document size.
Step 8
Print one photo as a test before a batch, and check the film counter, since a WIDE pack holds ten shots.

When INSTAX Link WIDE app and printer driver will not work
This is the only instax Link model that can. Install the Windows x64 driver or the macOS package from Fujifilm, then pair over Bluetooth and add the printer normally.
The macOS driver needs macOS 11 or later. Allow it in System Settings, Privacy and Security, and pair the printer over Bluetooth before adding it in Printers and Scanners.
Set the paper size to the instax WIDE size in the print dialog and turn off scale-to-fit. Printing a document-sized page to instant film without setting the size produces a shrunken image.
Grant Bluetooth permission on the phone or enable Bluetooth on the computer, switch the printer off and on so it advertises, and remove any stale pairing before trying again.
The first sheet is the black protective cover, which is normal. Otherwise shield prints from light as they eject, keep the film between about 5 and 40 degrees Celsius, and brighten contrast-heavy images before printing.
