NIIMBOT App Download and Setup Guide
Label design and printing for NIIMBOT label printers, with driver-free desktop apps

The NIIMBOT app designs and prints labels for NIIMBOT's Bluetooth label printers, which are popular for home organising, small business pricing and cable labelling. It has a large template and sticker library, generates barcodes and QR codes, and supports serialised and batch printing. The desktop side is unusual: instead of a printer driver, NIIMBOT publishes driver-free Windows and macOS applications that connect to the printer directly. That means the printer does not appear as a normal system printer, so you print from the NIIMBOT app rather than from other software.
Version and licence: Free. iOS version 6.6.7, a large app at around 295 MB. Unusually, NIIMBOT provides driver-free desktop applications for Windows and macOS rather than printer drivers, so the desktop app talks to the printer directly instead of creating a system print queue. Around 295 MB on iOS.

How to install it
Step 1
Load a NIIMBOT label roll or cassette and switch the printer on.
Step 2
On a phone, install the NIIMBOT app from the App Store or Google Play; on a computer, download the desktop app from the NIIMBOT download centre for your region.
Step 3
Enable Bluetooth and grant the app Bluetooth permission, plus nearby-device permission on Android.
Step 4
Open the app, search for the printer and pair with it.
Step 5
Confirm the label size shown matches the loaded stock; NIIMBOT printers read the roll on many models.
Step 6
Design the label or choose a template, then print one as a test.
Step 7
For bulk runs, import a spreadsheet and use the serialisation options rather than designing each label.
Step 8
Adjust print density if output is faint or smudged.
Which printers it supports
NIIMBOT Bluetooth label printers including the D series such as the D11, D110 and D101, and the B series including the B1, B21 and B3S.
When NIIMBOT App will not work
That is expected. NIIMBOT provides driver-free desktop applications rather than printer drivers, so the printer does not create a system print queue. Print from the NIIMBOT desktop app instead.
Grant Bluetooth and, on Android, nearby-device permission. Remove any stale pairing in the phone's Bluetooth settings, switch the printer off and on, and keep it within a metre during pairing.
Thermal labels print on one side only, so reload the roll with the coated side facing the print head. Also check the roll is genuine thermal stock rather than plain paper.
Many NIIMBOT models read a chip on the roll and report an error or reduced function with third-party stock. Check what your model requires before buying non-branded rolls.
Increase the print density in the app settings, clean the print head with an alcohol swab when the printer is cold, and confirm the roll is seated squarely in the guides.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Windows driver?
No. NIIMBOT publishes driver-free desktop applications instead, so you print from the NIIMBOT app rather than from other software.
Can I use third-party label rolls?
Many models check a chip on the roll, so third-party stock may not work or may trigger warnings. Check your model before buying.
Where do I download for my country?
NIIMBOT runs regional download centres, including US, UK and Australian pages, with the same apps.
