The bizhub C257i is Konica Minolta's compact A3 colour copier for small offices, launched in 2021 with a 7-inch touchscreen rather than the 10.1-inch panel of the larger i-Series. It prints 25 ppm, scans to the usual destinations and can sit on a desk or a low cabinet. It replaced the C227 and C287 and is a common first copier for small businesses, where driver installs and scan-to-email authentication are the typical support topics.

Best for: Small offices wanting a compact A3 colour copier
Download the bizhub C257i PCL6 driver from Konica Minolta's regional support page or use the Universal Print Driver; add the copier by IP. Configure scan-to-email in Web Connection with an app password or OAuth for Microsoft 365 and Gmail. For scan-to-folder on Windows 11, share a folder with a dedicated user and enable SMBv2 on the copier.
The Konica Minolta bizhub C257i uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
