Pantum BP5100DN
Busy offices that need a fast wired mono laser with PostScript

The BP5100DW is the wireless sibling of the BP5100DN and is the fastest single-function mono laser Pantum sells in most Western markets. With 40 ppm, PostScript and a big toner option it undercuts Brother HL-L6200 class printers on price. The trade-off is support: firmware updates and driver fixes arrive more slowly than from the big brands, so it pays to keep a USB cable handy when troubleshooting.

Join Wi-Fi from the LCD menu or use WPS on the router, then print a network page to confirm the IP. Install the Pantum driver on each computer and add the printer by IP if auto-discovery misses it. Because the printer supports PostScript, macOS users can also add it as a generic PostScript printer if the Pantum package has not yet been updated for a new macOS release.
The Pantum BP5100DW uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
