Samsung CLP-315
Owners keeping an old compact colour laser running for occasional use

The CLP-365W replaced the CLP-315W with the same tiny footprint but a newer engine, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and the CLT-406 toner family that continued in later Xpress models. It is cheap to buy second-hand and compatible toner is easy to find. Print quality on text is excellent, but photos are average, and colour printing is slow. Owners frequently hit the imaging unit life limit before they expect it.

Best for: Home users wanting a very small wireless colour laser
Use the 'CLP-365 Series' driver from support.hp.com or let Windows 11 use its built-in IPP driver once the printer is on the network. Wi-Fi setup works via WPS or the Samsung Easy Wireless Setup utility over USB. Set a static IP through SyncThru to avoid the printer disappearing from Windows after router restarts.
The Samsung CLP-365W uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
