Like every MegaTank, it is filled from bottles, so the printer costs more up front and far less per page than cartridge models. Setting up the Canon PIXMA G4280

Fill each tank from its matching bottle and follow the setup sheet exactly, then let the initial ink charge finish before connecting. Wireless setup starts at ij.start.canon or in the Canon PRINT app. Install the full driver package so feeder scanning works through IJ Scan Utility on Windows. Recent MegaTank models collect waste ink in a replaceable maintenance cartridge; if yours has one, buy a spare when the printer warns it is nearly full. Confirm the bottle numbers in the box before ordering refills.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the ink bottles (fill each tank to the upper line), and load paper in the tray.
