Is the Canon PIXMA TS5320 right for you?

The TS5320 is a compact duplex all-in-one with Bluetooth pairing and a small OLED strip instead of a color screen, sold in bright colors to appeal to dorm rooms and craft spaces. It moved the TS5000 line to PG-260 / CL-261 cartridges, which are different from the TS5120's ink, so check the label before restocking. Bluetooth makes phone setup painless, but the printer still needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for everyday use.

Setting up the Canon PIXMA TS5320

Open Canon PRINT with Bluetooth enabled on your phone and the app will find the printer and hand over your Wi-Fi password without any button presses. The OLED only shows short text, so full error descriptions appear in the app or the IJ Printer Assistant Tool. Use the rear tray for photo paper and envelopes; the cassette is for plain letter or A4 only.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the ink cartridges, and load paper in the tray.
2. Join your Wi-Fi. Keep the printer close to the router for setup. Most printers only connect to the 2.4GHz band, so if your router broadcasts one merged network name you may need to split the bands temporarily. See our Wi-Fi guide if it will not join.
3. Install the setup app. Use Canon's official app rather than a driver you found on a search result — third-party driver sites are the most common source of printer malware.
4. Add the printer. On Windows 11: Settings › Bluetooth & devices › Printers & scanners › Add device. On macOS: System Settings › Printers & Scanners › Add Printer.
5. Print a test page and run a scan if this is an all-in-one, so you find any problem now rather than when you are in a hurry.
