Setting up the Lexmark MX632adwe

Set a static IP address or a DHCP reservation on day one, because office lasers that change address are the usual cause of offline reports. Join Wi-Fi with the wireless wizard on the control panel or plug in Ethernet, then open the Embedded Web Server by typing the printer's IP address into a browser to set up scan-to-email, network folders and the fax header. Windows can print with its built-in driver, but the Lexmark Universal Print Driver unlocks finishing and security options. Confirm the toner and imaging unit numbers on the installed parts before ordering supplies.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the toner cartridge and drum unit, and load paper in the tray.
