Is the OKI C532dn right for you?

The C532dn refines the C500 formula with genuine 1200 x 1200 dpi output, optional wireless and AirPrint support, making it OKI's best all-round A4 colour printer of that generation. Graphics and small text hold up noticeably better than on the 1200 x 600 models. Its long paper path and heavy media handling still make it a strong choice for anyone printing menus, tickets or short-run marketing on card.

Setting up the OKI C532dn

For wireless, fit the optional module and join the network from the LCD's network menu; otherwise use Ethernet and reserve the IP in DHCP. Install the PostScript driver alongside PCL6 if you print from Adobe applications, since colour handling is better through PostScript. Register custom banner sizes in the driver's Paper Feed Options rather than only in the application, or the printer will crop the sheet.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the ink cartridges, and load paper in the tray.
2. Join your Wi-Fi. Keep the printer close to the router for setup. Most printers only connect to the 2.4GHz band, so if your router broadcasts one merged network name you may need to split the bands temporarily. See our Wi-Fi guide if it will not join.
3. Install the setup app. Use OKI's official app rather than a driver you found on a search result — third-party driver sites are the most common source of printer malware.
4. Add the printer. On Windows 11: Settings › Bluetooth & devices › Printers & scanners › Add device. On macOS: System Settings › Printers & Scanners › Add Printer.
5. Print a test page and run a scan if this is an all-in-one, so you find any problem now rather than when you are in a hurry.
