OKI Mobile Print Download and Setup Guide
Mobile printing for OKI printers, with a separate Android print plugin
Representative photo — Tsv4545 CC0
OKI Mobile Print prints documents and photos from a phone to an OKI printer on the same network, and scans from OKI multifunction models. On Android there is also a separate OKI Print Plugin that adds OKI printers to the system print dialog, which is the better route for printing from other apps. The context worth knowing is corporate: OKI has withdrawn from the office printer market in the Americas, so support and downloads are best found through the regional oki.com site for your country rather than a US page.
Version and licence: Free. iOS version 1.7.0 at about 42.7 MB, plus a separate Android Print Plugin that hooks into the system print dialog. Note that OKI no longer sells office printers in the Americas, so use your regional oki.com site for support and downloads. About 42.7 MB on iOS.
Download OKI Mobile Print
What it does
- Print documents and photos from a phone to an OKI printer
- Scan from OKI multifunction models to the phone
- Network discovery of OKI devices
- Basic print options including duplex and colour
- Separate Android print plugin for system-wide printing
- Works with cloud storage as a document source
How to install it
Step 1
Identify your regional OKI site, since OKI no longer sells office printers in the Americas and the US pages are limited.
Step 2
Install OKI Mobile Print from the App Store or Google Play, and on Android also install the OKI Print Plugin if you want to print from other apps.
Step 3
Connect the phone to the same network as the printer.
Step 4
Open the app and grant the local network permission.
Step 5
Add the printer by discovery or by entering the IP address from the printer's network settings page.
Step 6
On Android, enable the OKI print service under Settings, Connected devices, Connection preferences, Printing.
Step 7
Print a test document and check the paper size and duplex settings match the tray.
Which printers it supports
OKI network printers and multifunction devices, including the C, MC, B and MB series. Coverage varies by region because of OKI's market withdrawal in the Americas.
When OKI Mobile Print will not work
OKI no longer sells office printers in the Americas. Use the regional oki.com site for your country, such as the European or Asian sites, which still carry drivers, firmware and app information.
Grant the local network permission and confirm the phone is on the same subnet. Print a network settings page from the printer to get the IP address, then add it manually.
That needs the separate OKI Print Plugin, not the main app. Install it and enable the print service in Android's printing settings.
Only multifunction models support scanning, and the function must be enabled on the device. Check the printer's web interface, or scan to email from the panel instead.
OKI's mobile apps receive limited development. For basic printing use Mopria on Android or AirPrint on iOS, both of which are actively maintained and cover most current OKI devices.

Not office printers in the Americas. It continues in other regions, so use the oki.com site for your country.
What is the Print Plugin for?
It adds OKI printers to the Android system print dialog so you can print from any app, which the main app alone does not do.
Should I use Mopria instead?
For basic printing, often yes. Mopria is maintained across brands and covers most current OKI devices.
