Xerox Phaser 3330
Small offices wanting a fast wireless mono printer from the pre-B-series era

The Phaser 3610 was the predecessor of the VersaLink B400 and remains common in offices thanks to a 47 ppm engine, an 85,000-page drum and a 25,300-page cartridge. It is mechanically simple and cheap to run. Faults on older units are mostly fuser failures (010-377) and worn feed rollers; both are replaceable parts rather than reasons to scrap the printer.

Best for: Offices still running a fast, low-cost mono printer from the early 2010s
Add the printer by IP with the Xerox Global Print Driver or model driver; the IP is shown on the configuration page printed from the menu. Wi-Fi was an optional adapter, so most are on Ethernet. The Embedded Web Server provides static IP, supplies alerts and firmware updates.
The Xerox Phaser 3610 uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
