The IM C2000 is the entry model in Ricoh's A3 colour IM C line, running 20 ppm with the same panel, security stack and Always Current firmware model as the faster machines. It is usually sold on contract to offices whose volume is modest but who need A3 output, booklet copying and card release. Because the platform receives feature updates over its life, keep firmware current or newer workflow apps from the Ricoh Application Site will not install.
Sold in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Ireland, India

Best for: Offices needing A3 colour copying at modest monthly volumes
Have the dealer complete the network and accounting setup, but as administrator make sure you can reach Web Image Monitor over HTTPS and that the supervisor password has been changed from the default. Client rollout is easiest with the PCL6 Universal Driver deployed by Group Policy or Intune, mapping trays and finishing to your paper stocks. Scan-to-folder should point at a dedicated service account rather than a personal login so scans keep working when staff change passwords.
The Ricoh IM C2000 uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
