How to install it
Step 1
Check the server requirements first, since this is server software rather than a desktop utility and needs a suitable Windows machine.

Download Device Manager NX Lite from the Ricoh support downloads; allow time and disk space for the roughly 955 MB package.

Run the installer as an administrator and follow the database and service configuration prompts.

Open the management console in a browser once installation completes.

Run device discovery against your IP ranges rather than relying on broadcast.

When RICOH Device Manager NX will not work
That is expected, as the Lite package is around 955 MB and includes the application server and database components. Use a wired connection and confirm you have the disk space before starting.
SNMP must be enabled on the devices and allowed through firewalls. Scan explicit IP ranges rather than relying on broadcast discovery, which rarely crosses subnets.
Device administrator credentials must be stored in the console, and some counter data requires SNMP v3 or the device web services to be enabled. Check both, then run a manual collection on one device.
That is the Lite edition limit. The Pro and Enterprise editions raise it, and they are purchased through a Ricoh dealer rather than downloaded from the support site.
Devices must be idle and reachable, and some updates have prerequisites or a required order. Deploy to a single device first and keep it powered on throughout.
