Is the Canon PIXMA TS6320 right for you?

The TS6320 was a cost-reduced successor to the TS6220: same five-ink print engine and duplexing, but the color screen was swapped for a small OLED readout and the body shrank. It is a good choice for anyone who prints mainly from a phone and does not need to navigate menus on the printer itself. Watch the printhead, which still dries if the printer sits unused for months, and budget for the XXL pigment black if you print a lot of text.

Setting up the Canon PIXMA TS6320

Because the OLED cannot show a network list, first-time Wi-Fi must be done through Canon PRINT (Bluetooth handshake) or the ij.start.canon installer over USB. Chromebooks add it directly once it is on the network. When the display shows a four-digit support code, look it up in the app rather than guessing; 1660 simply means a tank is not clicked in.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the ink cartridges, and load paper in the tray.
2. Join your Wi-Fi. Keep the printer close to the router for setup. Most printers only connect to the 2.4GHz band, so if your router broadcasts one merged network name you may need to split the bands temporarily. See our Wi-Fi guide if it will not join.
3. Install the setup app. Use Canon's official app rather than a driver you found on a search result — third-party driver sites are the most common source of printer malware.
4. Add the printer. On Windows 11: Settings › Bluetooth & devices › Printers & scanners › Add device. On macOS: System Settings › Printers & Scanners › Add Printer.
5. Print a test page and run a scan if this is an all-in-one, so you find any problem now rather than when you are in a hurry.
