The ET-1810 is the cheapest way into Epson's bottle-fed EcoTank range in the UK and Europe: a print-only A4 unit with no scanner, no screen and a 100-sheet tray. It suits students and home offices that just need cheap colour pages and already own a scanner app on their phone. Because there is no display, every status message arrives as a blinking LED, so keep the Smart Panel app installed to decode them. The internal waste ink pads eventually fill and lock the printer, which is the main end-of-life complaint.
Sold in United Kingdom, Europe, Ireland, Australia. Sold as EcoTank L1210 in India.

Best for: Students and small home offices that only need colour printing
Fill all four tanks before the first power-on and let the initial ink charge run for roughly ten minutes without interruption. Connect with the Epson Smart Panel app on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, or hold the Wi-Fi button for five seconds to use Wi-Fi Direct when there is no router. Windows users should download the driver package from epson.co.uk/support rather than rely on the generic Windows driver, which omits maintenance tools.
The Epson EcoTank ET-1810 uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
