Setting up the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-C8690

Deploy on Ethernet with a static IP, set the admin password and configure scan-to-email or scan-to-folder through Web Config. Use the PostScript driver for design work and PCL for general office printing. Keep the A3 cassette paper squared to avoid jams.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the ink cartridges, and load paper in the tray.

3. Install the setup app. Use Epson's official app rather than a driver you found on a search result — third-party driver sites are the most common source of printer malware.
