Setting up the HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e

Use HP Smart to set up and to activate HP+; the 8020e series firmware and driver package covers this model. Ethernet or either Wi-Fi band will work. Keep the printer powered on so the automatic printhead servicing runs, and avoid removing cartridges for more than a few minutes.

1. Unbox and prepare. Remove every piece of shipping tape and packing material, install the ink cartridges, and load paper in the tray.
