Club shoppers buying a long-term family printer with bundled ink

The ET-3700 was the first consumer EcoTank with a PrecisionCore head and pigment black ink, giving it crisp, water-resistant text and a much faster 15 ppm black speed than the ET-2700 series. It is a good small-office choice even today thanks to its Ethernet port and auto duplex. The pigment black is also the weak point: if the printer sits unused, the black channel clogs before the dye colours do, so a monthly nozzle check is worth the minute it takes.

Best for: Small offices wanting sharp black text and wired networking
Connect by Ethernet if the printer lives near a router; it avoids the 2.4 GHz-only Wi-Fi limitation. Install the driver from epson.com/support and the Event Manager for scan buttons on Windows. After filling the tanks, the first ink charge takes about ten minutes, and a second cleaning cycle right after setup is unnecessary.
The Epson EcoTank ET-3700 uses the following consumables. Match the number exactly when you buy: the same printer family often uses several different cartridge numbers by region.
High-yield (XL) versions almost always cost less per page if you print regularly. On third-party ink and toner, read our honest assessment first, and note that some manufacturers push firmware that rejects non-original chips.
